Plus, they have an amusement park that’s loads of fun for kids and adults alike.

The Singapore Zoo is known as one of the best rainforest zoos in the world.

It hosts a variety of exotic wildlife that is sure to please kids of all ages. You and your family can see orangutans, African penguins, panther chameleons, lions, and much more.

For residents or visitors closer to the eastern coast of Canada, the Toronto Zoo can be an excellent way to spend the day or a weekend. It’s home to over 5,000 types of animals from many different areas of the world, including:

In a country renowned for its wildlife, the Wellington Zoo doesn’t disappoint! Not only can you see many different animal species, but you can also book close encounters with your favorites.

There is no need to fly to Australia or New Zealand to interact with kangaroos! You can simply travel to western Canada and visit Kangaroo Creek Farm in Kelowna, British Columbia. Located in the beautiful Okanagan Valley, Kangaroo Creek Farm is home to red kangaroos, common wallaroos, Bennett’s wallabies, and dama wallabies. When visiting, make sure to ask for a bag of popcorn to feed the kangaroos. They apparently LOVE popcorn just as much as we do!

#2 Watch Sea Turtles Hatch at Kosgoda Turtle Care Conservation Project in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is a great place to see turtles. It’s one of their favorite places to live and, apparently, to have babies. There are 18 sea turtle hatcheries along the southern coast of Sri Lanka. While it may not be possible to touch the baby turtles, you’ll get to see a lot of them up close. The Kosgoda Turtle Care Conservation Project is the best place to go because of all of the different types of turtles hatching over there.

#3 Go On a Safari at Kruger National Park in South Africa

A safari in Africa is the ultimate animal bucket list experience and South Africa offers great national parks where you can go on one. During the safari, you’ll usually get to see the Big 5: Elephants, lions, rhinos, leopards, and buffalo. Kruger National Park, located 5 hours from Johannesburg, is a great and safe option for families with little ones.

#7 Learn More About Elephants at Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand

There are many places in Asia, especially in Thailand, where you can see elephants. But it’s important to do your due diligence and make sure the elephants are well-treated.
