Montpellier Quarter – Hotels
If you don’t live locally in the Montpellier Quarter but want to spend some time there shopping and sight-seeing, you might want to consider booking a hotel for a night or two (or even more). That way, you don’t have to rush to get everything done, you can take your time and really enjoy the area.
Hotel chains such as Double Tree by Hilton and Jury’s Inn are well-known brands, you can find them both in the heart of London or in quieter more peaceful areas too, and because they have a good reputation, you can be assured of a great night’s rest.
That doesn’t mean that you should avoid the independent or lesser known hotels, you can get just as a good service as in any of these, but being less ‘touristy’, you might be more inclined to choose them if you are looking for a peaceful or romantic getaway.
The Montpellier Chapter Hotel has 4 Visit England stars and is located perfectly in the shops and cafes of the Montpellier Quarter. Choosing a hotel right in the area you want to explore means you don’t have to worry about how to get back if you decide to have a late night out in the town. It is also perfect for those with young children who might need to nap during the daytime, so you will want to be as local as possible.
Some of the hotels and B&B’s in the area have a really rustic charm in-keeping with the area, they are not as sleek and as modern as the large London hotels, although you have a lot more choice in London, plenty of accommodation close to all of the city’s attractions. The Montpellier Quarter, Cheltenham and The Cotswolds, in general, are peaceful laid back places, ideal for a holiday to get away from it all.
